CrossFit workouts are are made up of movements that the human body was designed to do (squat down, lift things off the ground, push/pull and sprint), combined in a way that continually pushes one’s boundaries of strength, speed and general physical capabilities. In essence, CrossFit makes you better, stronger, faster and more fit than you currently are, using exercises that your body likes and will respond well to.

The Blackhawk Fitness training methodology is unlike any other. We implement various tools to help our clients reach their goals, whether that goal is weight loss, strength development, or somewhere in between. Our program is comprised of Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, kettlebells and basic gymnastics movements—we don't do fitness machines, and we don’t do gimmicks.

We focus our attention on being extraordinarily effective at coaching our clients to move efficiently to realize their athletic potential and achieve their fitness goals as quickly as possible.

To ensure that all of our clients are provided with every opportunity to succeed, we require everyone to get started at Blackhawk Fitness in one of three ways: One-on-One Coaching, the BHFIT On-Ramp (small-group coaching), or by Testing Out.

One-on-One Coaching

One-on-One coaching is the most effective way to achieve your individual fitness goals and gain mastery of our foundational movements. Over the course of six coaching sessions you will learn —at your pace—how to safely and efficiently perform our program’s most common movements. Your coach will tailor the pace of instruction and the rigor of your six sessions specifically to your fitness capacity, goals and preferences.

Price: $199.00 (includes the first month’s group coaching membership)

  • One-on-One Coaching is the quickest way to achieve your fitness goals, and is available to anyone interested in continuing to receive individual coaching beyond the introductory sessions.

    One-on-One Coaching is strongly recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.

BHFIT Fundamentals

The BHFIT Fundamentals program is designed to expose the newest members of our community to the basic movements in a small group setting. Our Fundamentals sessions meet three days a week—with an optional fourth day—for two weeks. Our coaches will provide intensive instruction and progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group coaching sessions. The BHFIT Fundamentals is ideal for individuals who are active, injury-free and looking for the most cost-effective way to get started with group coaching.

Testing Out of the BHFIT Fundamentals:

If you have been doing CrossFit for a while and feel confident and comfortable performing basic gymnastics movements, power lifts and Olympic lifts, you can request to test out of the BHFIT Fundamentals Course and gain immediate access to our Group Coaching Sessions. Contact us to schedule a time to come in and demonstrate your ability level with one of our coaches. Word of caution - We have very high standards, so if you are unsure as to whether you are a candidate for testing out, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our $49 On-Ramp.


Small-Group Coaching

Small-group coaching for either CrossFit or GetFit is the perfect solution for the person looking for the benefits of one-on-one coaching and the social interaction of team training. Ideal for groups of 2 to 5 individuals of similar fitness capacities or with similar fitness goals, your small-group workouts will be tailored to address specific needs and goals of the group and/or individuals within the group.

If you have a few friends or family members you'd like to train with, this is the option for you. If you don't currently have a group, but would like to train with a small group, your Blackhawk Fitness coach will help to match you with similarly situated individuals

Pricing: Our small-group coaching package prices vary depending on the number of participants, and number and duration of coaching sessions, but can be arranged for as little as an additional $30 per month over the group coaching fees. Group Coaching

Group Coaching is offered Monday through Friday in the morning and evening and some Saturday mornings. Members pay a monthly membership and may attend any Group Coaching session that fits within their schedule. A BHFIT Coach will instruct all members of the group through mobility drills, a skill-based warm-up, and the Workout of the Day.

25% Discount for Military/First Responders: Out of appreciation for their service, we extend a 25% discount off of our group coaching memberships to all military and First Responders.

15% Discount for Nurses and Teachers: We appreciate everything you do for our community. As a way of saying thanks, we offer a 15% discount to all nurses and teachers.

Fitness Outside the Box
FREE fitness class, open to the public and perfect for beginners! Located at various parks or fitness centers each week. This body-weight and aerobic fitness class is an excellent way to get up and moving! We encourage you to try this class and bring a friend or the family for a great workout and tons of fun!
GetFit
Group fitness class designed specifically for weight loss, this class uses body-weight (think PUSH-UPs, SQUATS, and SIT-UPs) to tackle the fat and build lean muscle! This class is 6 weeks and first time clients pay just $99!
Group Coaching Session - CrossFit
Building upon the skills learned in GetFit, this class takes fitness to the next level. Our program is comprised of Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, kettlebells and basic gymnastics movements—we don't do fitness machines, and we don’t do gimmicks! Unlimited access to our gym is just $85 month-to-month! NO MONTHLY CONTRACT REQUIRED!
